At Health Innovation East we help innovators navigate complex systems, generate value propositions and convene key stakeholders to realise the value of innovations quicker.
We work in partnership with public and private organisations across the innovation landscape to deliver our common goal of improving patient care.
Health Innovation East turns great ideas into positive impact by bringing together all partners in the health sector to develop and deliver innovative care. We were established by the NHS and the Office for Life Sciences to work with academia, citizens, health services and industry to realise the value of innovations quicker. Our focus is in the East of England, but we are part of a national network that enables us to deliver at scale.
We spend roughly half of our time on the adoption and spread of the national programmes delivered by the Health Innovation Network.
We spend the other half on areas of health consistent with the priorities set out in the NHS Long Term Plan and in the Eastern region and the areas where our region is best placed to make major advances. Following consultation across our region, we have defined four priority areas of greatest health need.
