We lead every stage of the evaluation process – from conception to reporting and knowledge mobilisation. Drawing on our expertise in a range of evaluation methods to deliver meaningful and robust evaluations.

Through our evaluations we gather evidence to understand if, how, and in what contexts innovation works to inform adoption, spread and good practice.

Providing in-house expertise from our evaluation team and through academic partnerships we deliver highly credible mixed-methods evaluations for innovators, industry, healthcare providers or local government. Whether an intervention is early-stage or ready for national dissemination, our work delivers relevant evidence and insights.

Conducting comprehensive, independent, real-world evaluation of your work delivers highly relevant evidence and actionable insights to inform the design and improvement of interventions, and to support evidence-based decision across the health and care system.

Our evaluation team brings skills and backgrounds in academic and clinical research, mixed-method evaluation, implementation science, health economics and project management.

We apply health economics methods including cost effectiveness analysis, cost consequence analysis, and economic modelling to generate insights into the value, affordability and sustainability of innovations and interventions

We lead on all aspects of project delivery – including recruitment, data collection and analysis. We design comprehensive evaluation plans to ensure robust evaluation are carried out in real-world settings.

Expert advice and guidance Icon of a sign post with three arrows

Expert advice and guidance to help you deliver evaluations. Our experienced evaluators offer expert guidance to support organisations to design and develop tailored monitoring and evaluation approaches that align with their specific requirements and priorities for gathering evidence and insights.

We co-design quality evaluation frameworks and scope projects for diverse organisations and interventions. Providing relevant and sustainable solutions for ongoing evaluation and improvement of programmes.

We work with partners across the system, including health and care providers, academic partners, voluntary organisations and people with lived-experience to apply for funding. We identify the right grants and funding agents, the right setting to pilot or scale an intervention, and the right partners to deliver meaningful research and evaluation.

Equipping organisations and systems to conduct evaluations – we build capability, share knowledge and use insights to inform adoption and spread of innovation.

From advising on any stage in the evaluation process, we provide guidance on ethical considerations,  support to write bids and NHS research ethics applications and facilitate knowledge exchange and dissemination of evaluation findings to wide audiences.

Logic model and mapping workshopsIcon of three people watching a presenter in front of a board

We facilitate workshops and support teams to understand and visualise how an intervention works in practice.

Using tools such as logic model, theory of change and system mapping techniques, we help teams to understand the mechanisms of how an intervention works in the real world – gaining crucial insight to support effective implementation and meaningful evaluations in real-world settings.

Supporting organisations to develop a logic model fosters collaboration and provides a structured approach to identify and build consensus of what an intervention looks like on the ground – what activities and resources are needed, what the intended outcomes and impacts are, and how these can be evaluated.

Evidence reviews Magnifying glass looking at evidence

Gathering and communicating robust evidence is essential for informing good-practice, policy and implementation within health and care settings.

Our experienced team of evidence reviewers conduct scoping and rapid reviews of existing evidence to assess the current knowledge base, identify gaps and support evidence-informed decision-making to guide future implementation and evaluations.

We work with partners across the health and care system  – regionally and nationally – to gather the evidence they need.

We are proud to have been successfully selected as a preferred supplier of evidence reviews for the Health Foundation.
