Health Innovation East has an exciting opportunity for a team administrator to join our rapidly expanding Health Informatics team.

Salary: £27,086 – £34,833

Hours of work: offered between 0.6FTE and full time, with flexible working hours compatible with the role considered

Deadline: 9am Monday 30 June 2025

Date of interview: 9 July 2025

The Health Informatics team has specialist skills in delivering complex, technical programmes of work that include providing secure environments for storing and accessing health and other sensitive data to support health and care delivery, research, and innovation.

We are looking for someone who has experience in administrative support within a fast-paced, complex and evolving environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing competing demands where priorities frequently shift with confidence and flexibility. They will have expertise in managing multiple administrative tasks simultaneously, with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.

This is a chance to join a fast growing, dynamic company, whose purpose is to turn great ideas into positive health impact. Citizens, academia, health services and industry achieve more working together than in isolation. As part of a national network, we make this happen by bringing together all partners in the health sector, to develop and deliver innovative care.  We are an independent company funded mostly through public money from the NHS, but we work with a wide range of innovative organisations in the public and private sectors.

This post is based in our Cambridge office, with opportunities for hybrid working. The role is offered between 0.6FTE and full time, with flexible working hours compatible with the role considered. There will be a requirement to attend at least two in-person team meetings per month, plus some occasional travel to meetings or events both within the Eastern region and nationally.

Salary and benefits

We offer, in addition to a competitive salary, a pension scheme with up to 10% matching company contributions, access to an employee assistance programme, learning and development opportunities, and 27 days paid leave in addition to bank holidays.
