The MedTech Funding Mandate (MTFM) |
The MedTech Funding Mandate (MTFM) is an NHS Long Term Plan commitment to give patients access to selected NICE approved, cost-efficient technologies more quickly. We are working with suppliers to support trusts to implement the selected innovations, understand local and regional issues and share learnings from NHS organisations who have already implemented them. |
The System Safety Improvement Programme |
Working with Integrated Care Systems to create optimal conditions for patient safety improvement to flourish. |
The Medicines Safety Improvement Programme |
The Medicines Safety Improvement Programme brings safety culture, safety systems and the science of continuous safety improvement to bear on complex problems. |
Maternity and Neonatal Safety Improvement Programme – 2024/25 |
The programme works with all maternity and neonatal providers in our region on a range of key improvement workstreams, aiming to reduce the rate of stillbirths, neonatal death and brain injuries. |
Martha’s Rule and Managing Deterioration |
The programme aims to reduce deterioration-associated harm by improving the prevention, identification, escalation and response to physical deterioration, through better system co-ordination and as part of safe and reliable pathways of care. |
